GENOA, Italy, February 19, 2024 — IAMA Therapeutics has successfully dosed the first two cohorts of subjects and has started dosing the third one in the First-in-Human Phase 1 clinical trial of IAMA-6, a small molecule designed to target NKCC1.

This highly selective small molecule, designed for oral administration, targets NKCC1-associated neuronal hyperexcitability.
